Kia Naddermier was first introduced to Ashtanga Yoga in the early ninties by John and she continues to study under his guidance to this date. She has over 20 years of unbroken practice-experience of Ashtanga Yoga and is the founder, director and main teacher at Mysore Yoga Paris where she upholds the daily Mysore program. Kia is a dedicated advanced practitioner and teaches Ashtanga Yoga, Pranayama, adjustment techniques, she mentors teachers and gives workshops, trainings and retreats internationally.

Over the years she has studied asana, pranayama and yoga philosophy extensively with many of the most senior teachers and at Shri K Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute in Mysore. Kia is certified to teach Pranayama directly by Shri O.P. Tiwari, successor to Swami Kuvalyananda and one of the few remaining masters of pranayama. Her way of teaching integrates her profound knowledge of breath and pranic energy, subtle and physical alignment, with yogic principles. Kia´s deep love and years of dedication to all aspects of this practice is something she shares with enthusiasm and gentleness.
